Logiclock – Cosa Nostra

Logiclock – Cosa Nostra.
Location: Nottingham
Game Date 01/04/2017.
Team: Amy, Ian & Jackie

“We are in Sicily, in the villa of the Sicilian mafia, where 4 mafia bosses hold their meetings. You are the secret team of the British Spy Agency. You’ve only got 60 minutes to reveal all plans of the mafia bosses and escape from the villa using only your mind, logic and common sense. But be very careful, the mafia is very dangerous and if they catch you we can’t guarantee your safety….”

A beautifully decorated room, clean crisp and it smelled of LEMONS! Well, we were in Sicily. I LOVE how Logiclock use smells in the room, it really helps the immersion.
The theming was continuous and fitting for the room. I’ve gotta mention the lovely comfy chairs (which I made use of!!) A very well themed room, and a lovely environment to play a game in, the use of tech was understated and used very well.

Game Play:
A beautifully linear game with an excellent flow. Incredibly logical and plenty of Ah-ha moments. A lovely mix of puzzles, math, logic, visual, aural, physical. All bases were touched within this room, leaving us each to experience expertise and allowing us to all shine at different moments within the game. Some of the puzzles were devices we had seen before in escape rooms but all puzzles were so logical and clear in their soloution. I enjoyed that a lot in this room.
I would encourage enthusiasts to take a small team. Newbies may find this room a little more difficult so a bigger team could help

Clue System:
Clues were delivered via a screen in the room. We didn’t use any!

Game Host:
Antony was our Game host and he delivered a cool brief within the room, really setting the scene.

Did we escape?
Yes, in 35 minutes (Reportedly the 2nd best time ever!)
