Theme:
“You and your group are very experienced paranormal investigators with a special interest in demonology.

It has been a while since you have heard of any interesting cases until you found this story about some suspicious events happening at Loke Lake. Several children have gone missing within a short period of time, and no one can figure out why. The only lead you have is a mysterious cabin that is on the lake’s perimeter. Many people are claiming that something paranormal or otherworldly is happening here.

You and your group have decided to go investigate what is really happening so you can put these rumors and legends to rest and prevent these terrible things from happening again.

Once you arrive at the lake, you follow a series of clues to what appears to be the bedroom of a boy named Ben. You quickly find some video footage and realize that this paranormal activity is much bigger than you ever expected.

Loke Lake was very nicely decorated, creating a good sense of immersion with a great amount of attention to detail. The set carried through the immersion whilst getting a little darker in tone and lighting levels, but this was keeping in theme and didn’t hamper play at all.
There was a good sense of story in the room and this was supported by video and audio elements.
The room was large enough for the max of 6 players.

Game Play:
A fairly open game that had a lovely assorment of puzzles, word, observation, searching, logic, codebreaking, and team-work, a smart mix that will ensure everyone gets their moment to shine!
Puzzles were very logical, and never failed to have lovely ah-ha moments, such was the clarity in their design.
The puzzles were well on theme, and transitioned nicely with the room to support and drive the story forward.
Flow was wonderful with smooth game play and good links between puzzles.
Signposting was excellent, unobtrusive yet guiding.
A really enjoyable room that is filled with enjoyable puzzles, whilst it won’t tax enthusiasts too much it is still a very good game that I would reccomend checking out if you’re in the area!

Tom was our host and he was great, enthusiastic and passionate and gave us nudges at the right time! It was clear he knew the game inside out and his expertise in hosting shined through.
