Temple Quest looked great, and was decorated to a very high standard. The most impressive part of Temple Quest was the sense of discovery, accompanied by 360º immersion it was hard to feel like we weren’t in a Temple in the depths of the jungle! Each area we discover held many secrets and details that it was sometimes hard to keep our focus (that’s not to say they’re red herrings, we were just easily distracted by how pretty and detailed the rooms was!) add into that a special method of transportation and it truly was like going on an adventure!
At times lighting was atmospheric but we never had any problems in seeing what we were doing.

Game Play:
A fairly linear game when moving from space to space, elegantly interspersed with more open elements to create a bigger, more impactful game. Puzzles were well ranging, with skill, physical, logic, teamwork, word, aural, searching and cipher work… there really is something for everyone, and the game really leans into teamwork and skill puzzles and makes these “frustratingly fun” – The logic behind every move and puzzle in the room was exemplary and we found ourselves having many exciting ah-ha moments all through the game.
Each and every puzzle was intrisic to the room and really felt as if it was just meant to be, that we had stumbled upon some once forgotten puzzles that were fit for Drake, or Lara Croft!
The signposting was excellent, with enough to guide and suggest to us, but also sparse enough to let us make our own discoveries and decisions.
Flow was wonderful, albeit we got a bit bogged down by a tricky lock but this was wholly our own fault!
Overall a superb game that will leave you excited at the sense of discovery and satisfied with its excellent game design

Clue System:
Clues, well we had a helping hand whilst in the room, but I’m not going to spoil it! Safe to say it was a very fitting and hilariously fun clue system!

Game Host:
Our game host was wonderful, attentive, bright, friendly and professional. A true credit to Clue Cracker.

Did we escape?
Yes, with about 2 minutes left, it was a serious close call!
